| I grew up in southern New Hampshire, USA, surrounded by dense forests,
beautiful mountains and crystal clear lakes. At an early age, I learned from
my late father (also an avid shutterbug) the fine art of
photographic composition and how to capture those beautiful
surroundings through the eye of the camera. Since that
time, I've captured outdoor scenes digitally and on film in some 15 different
countries around the world. And now, some 50 years later, I'm still at it.
Needless to say, outdoor
photography remains my first love. There is nothing
quite like the thrill of capturing a beautiful mountain vista, a
roaring waterfall, or a brilliant sunset with a camera. And while I have recently made the "leap" to
digital photography, I still shoot a lot of film as I have found that
there are still some photographic situations where film yields better results. So,
Dad, wherever you are, these photos are dedicated to you!
